As a service to the community, the YWCA will now provide a regularly scheduled American Heart Association CPR Certification Classes for both Healthcare Workers and the general public.

Classes will be held on the third Saturday of each month at the YWCA at 1831 Turner Street. Basic Life Support Healthcare Providers needing to be certified or re-certified can attend the morning session and members of the general public who wish to take the Heartsaver class and be CPR certified can attend the afternoon class.

On the third Saturday of each month, the BLS for Healthcare Providers course will be held from 9:15 to 12:30. The Heartsaver class for the general public wishing to be certified will be held from 1:00 to 4:00.

For all BLS Healthcare providers who are not members of the YWCA, the cost of the class is $55.00. For individuals wishing to take the afternoon Heartsaver class who work for a registered non-profit organization, the cost of the class will be $17.00 which is the cost of their certification card.
